
Managing and Copyediting

Griffin Erdely (he/him) is a junior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is captain of the club Ice Hockey team at Susquehanna and has been playing hockey since he was six. He has learned through years of playing to be passionate and hard working, and strives to maintain that passion and work ethic both on and off the ice. In addition to being a sports fan, he loves comic books and graphic novels (his favorite comic book character is Spawn from Image Comics), and he is always looking to share his passion and interests with others.

Carissa Holaska (she/her) is a senior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major. When she’s not playing video games, watching YouTube, reading a book, hanging out with friends, taking long walks, staring at the wall contemplating life, or listening to podcasts, she’s writing.

Kelly Krotzer (she/her) is a senior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major from Manassas, Virgina, where she lives with her family and two dogs, Sandy and Loki. In addition to aspiring to be published, Kelly also hopes to work in the publishing industry, most likely as an editor.

Halli Moyer (she/her) is a senior Publishing & Editing major. When she's not reading, writing, or stressing about classes, Halli enjoys spending time with her cat and cooking with her partner. In the near future, she hopes to advance her baking skills and work as a copyeditor.

Matthew Murry (he/him) is a senior Publishing & Editing and English Secondary Education double major. When not thoroughly engrossed in schoolwork, he enjoys reading, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and beating his suitemates in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Tyla Parks (she/her) is a senior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major with a Film minor. She works as an ILL student worker and archives student assistant in the library. She is also a writing tutor for the CAS. She is actively involved with the literary community on campus. For the Susquehanna Review, she is the co-managing editor and has had pieces published in Rivercraft and Essay Magazine. When her time is not spent in the library, she is in her room watching old Hollywood movies with her roommate.
Design and Production

Julie Bauer (they/them) is a senior Publishing & Editing and Graphic Design double major from Bellwood, Pennsylvania. After graduating this spring, they hope to pursue a career in publication design. A fun fact is that they own 11 pairs of heart-shaped sunglasses.

Christina Beiter (she/her) is a Publishing & Editing and Creative Writing double major from Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. She hopes to find a job in publication after she graduates, and she knows she will always write on the side. A fun fact is that she once accidentally answered an entire Italian exam in German. All the answers were correct… besides it being in the wrong language.

Emily Bell (she/they) is a Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major with a minor in Professional & Civic Writing. They have worked in the mailroom and been a member of Dance Corps all four years at Susquehanna and will deeply miss both communities. They love reading and writing fanfiction and contributing to the gay agenda on a daily basis. Do not engage with them regarding any of their fandoms unless you have ninety minutes to spare.

Caitlin Johannes (she/her) is a Photography, Creative Writing, and Publishing & Editing triple major. She loves reading, movies, and has a deep appreciation for the art of screenwriting. She also loves to cook and create new dishes. She has been dancing for 15 years and is on the Dance Team here at Susquehanna University as well as being a part of four Dance Corps classes.

Tay Meehan (they/them) is a senior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major. They are passionate about access to education and hope to use their publishing skills to make knowledge more accessible for everyone. Tay is also the co-managing editor of The Susquehanna Review and the digital store manager for Scarsdale Publishing.

Malaika Olaoye (she/her) is a junior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major with a Theatre minor. She really enjoys reading and writing middle-grade fiction, like the Percy Jackson series (she can't wait for the new TV series to come out). She's currently on a Marvel kick, devouring all the content that she can. She's also the Design Editor of Susquehanna University's on-campus satirical newspaper, The Squirrel. Her favorite candy is KitKats!

Fiona Selden (she/her) is a junior Creative Writing major with minors in Publishing & Editing and Film Studies. Her favorite pastime is talking her friends' ears off about her newest media obsessions and her second favorite pastime is baking. They would both take first place if dishes could clean themselves.
Marketing and Publicity

Hannah Aud (she/her) is a senior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major from Maryland. At school she pushed herself to take up many leadership positions and will graduate as the Managing Editor of RiverCraft, the President of Film Club, and the President of the Anime and Manga Association. She also took dance classes with SU Dance Corps, which led to her choreographing her own duet. She has many interests with rarely any time for them, but she loves making art, cooking, and of course writing.

Kara Boub (she/her) is a junior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major with a French Studies minor. She is from Wyoming, Pennsylvania. Kara dreams of a career that allows her to travel and read books. She loves to attend concerts of her favorite musicians and scream her lungs out to every lyric.

DJ Bunce (she/her) is a senior Publishing & Editing major with minors in Marketing, Business Administration, and Honors. Within our capstone course, she served as a member of the Marketing & Publicity team, working hard to promote The Junction through social media campaigns and physical advertisement strategies. Upon her graduation later this month, DJ will be attending Oxford University in the fall to study literary publishing through the Columbia Publishing Course, and afterwards plans on securing a job at one of the top 5 publishing conglomerates in New York City.

Marcos Colon (he/him) is a senior History major with a Publishing & Editing minor. He is a commuter student at Susquehanna and is also Vice President of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. He enjoys reading, writing, taekwondo, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends. He hopes this publication is able to help students find paths to success, and to make a positive impact on the industry as a whole.

Emily Criswell (she/her) is a senior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major with a minor in Professional & Civic Writing. Historical fiction is her primary genre, and she is currently working on her first full-length novel manuscript. After graduation, she will be taking some time off before pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing. In addition, she is a board member for a local nonprofit historical society.

Jae Sutton (she/her) is a senior and aspiring author and copyeditor at Susquehanna University. She has an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism and plans to complete her Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing in December ’22. She works part-time on campus in the Career Development Center and Blough-Weis Library as a student front desk/office assistant. Outside of class and work she spends her free time stacking up on aromatherapy, drinking tea, struggling to read books and writing multiple novels at once while binge-watching black 90s TV shows.

Destiny Wertz (she/her) is a senior Creative Writing and Publishing & Editing double major with minors in Theatre and Professional & Civic Writing. When Destiny isn't doing homework, she can be found watching RuPaul's Drag Race and movies with her friends or working one of her jobs at the Center for Academic Success. She's excited to graduate and have more time at home with her eight dogs and four cats. After graduation, she hopes to attend graduate school to become a professor.
